For the last 3 years, Interprogram, Inc. has been involved in several large projects handling migrations from Adobe ColdFusion based platforms to Microsoft ASP C# .NET. The reason for the migrations was that experienced ColdFusion talent was difficult to acquire & retain, prompting our larger clients to switch to a more widely used technology, such as ASP .NET. This does not mean that ASP .NET is technologically better than ColdFusion; sadly, however there are significantly fewer ColdFusion developers than there are ASP .NET which does have implications when dealing with large scale enterprise applications.
